Park Avenue North Extension
Scope of Work
Environmental Services for Construction
PPROJECT UNDERSTANDING
The City is currently undertaking a roadway extension project which will modify the
existing intersection of Park Avenue N/Logan Avenue N/N Southport Drive to create a
new public roadway leading north from the intersection. The extension of Park Avenue N
will have sidewalks on both sides and a new grade crossing of the BNSF railroad. A new
water main will be constructed, and storm drainage installed as part of the project.
This scope of work provides for the ongoing environmental compliance reviews of the
project during construction. The work will be performed in accordance with the City of
Renton Policies and procedures. The following tasks identify the work needed:
TASKS:
1. Provide updated Boeing material hazmat plans consistent the NPDES plans.
2. Provide an oversight to the CM team to assure contractor compliance with the
City’s NPDES permit and the Boeing approved materials handling plans.
3. Respond to contractor RFI’s concerning environmental issues and commitments.
4. Update environmental documentation as needed to address construction
changes or issues.
5. Make recommendations for environmental compliance.
