SUBJECT: Request for modification of approved site plan for Renton Community
Center(File No. SA-049-84)
Dear Mr.Nolan;
This letter is to inform you that we have approved your proposed revisions to the Renton
Community Center site plan.
This Site Plan was initially approved via an administrative Site Plan Review process on August
27, 1987. The current request seeks to construct two additions to the existing community center.
The additions total 1,124 square feet in area,the existing community center totals 35,380 square
feet in area. The proposed location for the additions will not result in the removal or
reconfiguration of any required parking areas, landscaped areas, or refuse and recycling areas.
The Site Plan regulations define minor adjustments or modifications to an approved site plan as
changes which do not involve more than a 10% increase in area or scale of the development,
which do not have a significantly greater impact on the environment and facilities, and which do
not change the boundaries of the originally approved plan(RMC 4-9-200.H.).
The revisions as proposed, appear to comply with the applicable development standards of the
Commercial/Office/Residential(public)(COR(P))Zone and applicable parking regulations. It
has been determined that the revised proposed would not result in any significant environmental
impacts above those analyzed under the previous development review. Therefore, the proposed
modification to the site plan review is approved a minor modification subject to the following
conditions:
The applicant is advised that all code requirements and conditions of the site plan approval (dated
August 27, 1987) are still applicable to the development of the site. The applicant should also
understand that Environmental SEPA Review and Administrative Site Plan Review may be
required for future modifications to the site plan.

This decision to approve the proposed revisions as a minor modification is subject to a 14 day
appeal period from the date of this letter. Any appeals of the administrative decision must be
filed with the City of Renton Hearing Examiner by 5:00 p.m. July 25,2005. If you have

SUBJECT: RCC Storage Room Additions, Site Plan
We are requesting approval of a modification to the approved site plan for the
Renton Community Center (SA-049- .
The proposed site plan (sheet A-1, attached) shows the proposed 1,124
square foot addition to the existing 35,380 square foot Community Center
on a site totaling 18.5 acres.
The addition represents a 3% increase in the area of the existing building.
Due to its small footprint and adjacency to the existing building, the
addition will not have a greater impact on the environment and facilities
than the approved plan.
The proposed site plan does not change the boundaries of the originally
approved site plan.
