HomeMy WebLinkAboutExtension ApprovalApril 26, 2018 Socheat Khnor 26721 106th Ave SE Kent, WA 98030 SUBJECT: Request for Extension Boun Short Plat (LUA16-000124) Dear Mr. Khnor, We have received and reviewed your request, dated April 4, 2018, to extend the period of validity for the Boun Short Plat. The short plat was approved on April 25, 2016 and was valid for two years. RMC 4-7-070.M allows for the granting of one extension for one additional year of approval, provided the request is made prior to the expiration of the short plat. In addition, the City has reviewed the outstanding items that would need to be completed prior to recording of the short plat and has determined that if all outstanding fees are paid and the Construction Permit is issued prior to the end of June 30, 2018, it would be probable that the required short plat improvements could be constructed in the remaining time allotted for the short plat approval. Your request meets requirements of Renton Municipal Code and qualifies for a one-time extension of one year, provided that all outstanding fees are paid and the Construction Permit is issued prior to the end of June 30, 2018. Therefore, the requested extension of the period of validity for the short plat is approved, subject to the following conditions: All outstanding Construction Permit fees shall be paid prior to June 30, 2018. The Construction Permit shall be issued prior to June 30, 2018. If these items are not completed, this extension approval shall be considered null and void and the short plat will be expired. You should be aware that this is the only extension that will be granted. If the final short plat is not recorded by April 25, 2019 it will expire and cannot be extended again.
