Subject: Sustainable Renton Temporary Use Permit
Hello Mayor Pavone,
I'm reaching out on behalf of Sustainable Renton. As you know we've been steadily growing our food
relief efforts exponentially in Renton for the last 3 years!
We are in need of a temporary use permit for the back parking lot of St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
We have to move our operation "indoors" to support our volunteer health this winter. We are looking to
have this model in walk-thru storage containers.
· This is a temporary fix to get our volunteers out of the elements as we continue our search for a
building to host our operation. This is our greatest need.
I have attached a diagram of our first draft.
Would you be willing to point us in the right direction to secure these documents ASAP?
We would also greatly appreciate the city's support in outreach to the neighborhood regarding this
temporary use permit. Having this information come from the city would reinforce the city's support of
Sustainable Renton with our neighboring residents.
From all of us here, thank you for supporting our efforts to make Renton an equitable place for all who
live here.
