Started on May 1, 2023, this roadway extension work includes modifying the existing intersections of Park Ave N and Logan Ave N/N Southport Dr and Park Ave N and 757th Ave NE to extend the public roadway through Boeing’s access to Southport. The roadway extension of Park Ave N would have sidewalks on both sides and a new grade crossing of the BNSF Railway railroad. In addition, a new water main would be constructed and storm drainage would be installed as part of the project. The night time work is being proposed to allow BNSF Railway Company to remove railroad track within the project area. The purpose of the night time work is to limit impacts to fuselage deliveries to the Boeing factory by rail. It is anticipated that the night time work to remove the railroad track would be completed on June 8, 2023. However, an alternate night time work window may be required to complete the railroad track removal.
