ADDITIONAL MEDICINE TESTING LAB FACILITIES, SUPPORT OFFICES AND AMENITIES WOULD OCCUPY THE REMAINING FLOORS (2-5). LEVEL 1 IS CURRENTLY OCCUPIED BY UW DLMP BUT WILL BE REVISED TO MEET THE NEW PROGRAM. THE CURRENT SIZE OF THE TESTING LAB IS APPROXIMATELY 15,240 SF OF LEVEL 1. THE ENTIRE BUILDING IS LEASED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON. NOTE THE UPPER FLOORS OF THE BUILDING ARE PREDOMINANTLY VACANT OFFICE SPACE. RENOVATIONS TO THE INTERIOR OF BUILDING WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUPPORT THE TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT AND LAYOUT TO SUPPORT THE WORKFLOW. NEW FINISHES, CEILINGS, INTERIOR PARTITIONS, AND DOORS (INCLUDING CARD ACCESS SECURITY) WILL BE REQUIRED, IN ADDITION TO NEW ELECTRICAL, DATA, MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT, AND NEW SINKS (HAND-WASH AND LAB USE).
