Zvi tv by and between the City of Renton, hereinafter called the "City", and Tetra Tech, Inc., whose address is, 1420 Fifth Ave, Suite 550,Seattle, WA 98101, hereinafter called the "Consultant". WITNESSETH THAT: WHEREAS, the City engaged the services of the consultant under Engineering Consultant Agreement CAG-15-224, dated December 7, 2015, to provide engineering services necessary for the Cedar River 205 Project Levee Certification; and WHEREAS, the City desires to complete the work associated with the Cedar River 205 Project Levee Certification, and the City does not have sufficient qualified engineering employees to perform the work within a reasonable time; and WHEREAS, the City and consultant have determined that additional services are required to complete the work items listed in Exhibit A Scope of Services under the original contract CAG-15-224, dated December 7, 2015; NOW,THEREFORE, in accordance with Section VIII Extra Work of the Master Agreement CAG-15-224, dated December 7, 2015, it is mutually agreed upon that Engineering Consultant Agreement CAG-15- 224, is amended to include the work and associated budget as follows: 1. The Scope of Work (Section I of the Master Agreement CAG-15-224) is modified to include the additional services on the attached Exhibit A. 2. The Payment (Section VI of the Master Agreement CAG-15-224) is modified to include payment for the additional work items defined in Exhibit A. The revised contract total payable for work on this contract addendum is increased from $98,908, to $106,541, making a difference of$7,633. The maximum amount payable for the additional work items defined in Exhibit A of this contract addendum is$7,633, without prior authorization from the City. All other provisions of Consultant Agreement CAG-15-224 dated December 7, 2015, shall apply to this addendum. The project uses WSDOT Standard Specifications for or Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction (Standard Specification). Tetra Tech's review objectives will be to cross check between contract drawings, contract specifications, and the contract bid schedule to check that work described in the plans and specifications is clearly defined, along with a corresponding pay item within the bid schedule, as applicable. An independent civil discipline review of design drawings will also be completed. The presentation and packaging of the Contract Documents will be reviewed for clarity and consistency of a project using the Standard Specification. Review and comment will be provided for the following components: • Contract Drawings • Bid Proposal Form and Bid Schedule(s) • Division 1 Special Provisions • Divisions 2-9 Special Provisions Review comments will be completed as red line markups of the drawings, track changes comments on Word documents, with a Technical Memorandum summarizing the other issues (general, packaging, and cross reference comments). Drawing comments will be scanned to electronically submit comments to the City for their review. After electronic submittal of the deliverables, Tetra Tech will meet with the City if requested to discuss the findings and questions that may arise. Assumptions • The project is to be constructed in accordance with Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, 2014 edition, as issued by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). • Technical discipline reviews of the Contract Documents design content, materials, and methods are understood to have been previously reviewed by others, so Tetra Tech's design review will focus on civil discipline and constructability issues. • Tetra Tech will review the drawing file "20151229 - Cedar River Gravel Removal_90percent_Submittal" and the bid item list "CRD_Bid Item List_01_07_2016_90percent_Draft" as received from the City, or as updated before the review process begins. • Tetra Tech will review the Bid Proposal Form and Bid Schedule(s) and Division 1 Special Provisions, to be provided by the City before the review process begins. • Tetra Tech will review the 02-18-16 file named "DIVISION 2-9_90%_Draft," as received from the City, or as updated before the review process begins. • One client meeting is included. Schedule • 02/29/16 — Notice to proceed by the City and Tetra Tech receipt of applicable Contract Documents, discussed above. • 03/07/16—Electronic submittal of deliverables to the City. • 03/14/16—Meeting with the City.
