1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair, Ronald Erb, called the regular Senior Advisory Board meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Members Present In -person: Elaine Seay-Davis, Faye Williams, Katharine Cooke, Anita Dull,
Julie Horan, Siona Cochran, Jack Wardell, Ronald Erb, Marge Cochran-Reep, Brigid Cabellon,
Shirley Haddock, Sandra Polley
Members Present via Teams: Christine Grey -Scott
Member(s) Absent: Beatrice Budziu (excused)
City Staff Present In -person: Sean Claggett, Carrie Nass, Jennifer Spencer, Donna Eken,
Tom Puthoff, Sonja Mejlaender, Aliena Shoemaker
3. CONSENT AGENDA
a) Jack Wardell moved to approve the April 3rd, 2023 minutes, motion seconded by
Shirley Haddock, all in favor, motion carried.
4. PUBLIC / AUDIENCE COMMUNICATION
a) None.
5. NEW BUSINESS
a) Introduce Recreation Administrative Assistant
b) Motion to Create Community Outreach Sub -Committee. Moved by Elaine Seay-Davis,
seconded by Marge Cochran-Reep, all in favor, motion carried.
c) Renton River Days Update
d) June 5 Senior Advisory Group and Individual Photos
e) July 3 Meeting Discussion
Motion to change to date of next meeting to June 5 by Marge Cochran-Reep,
seconded, all in favor, passed
f) August 7 Field Trip Park Tour
g) Motion to include line in minutes for members attending via Teams made by Shirley
Haddock, seconded, vote, motion carried.
6. DISCUSSION / ACTION ITEMS
a) Senior Center Updates —programming discussed and call for volunteers
b) Senior Center Programs and Activities- Inquiry about possible programming for fishing,

a) Park Rules and Regulations Briefing — Fishing course/field trip possibilities
discussed, to be determined. City emails to be assigned to members of the Board.
Application for community booth at Renton River Days for Board outreach to be
submitted.
8. ADJOURNMENT
a) Ronald Erb motioned to adjourn, motioned seconded, all in favor, motion carried at
10:31 a.m.
The next Senior Citizen Advisory Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 5, 2023 at
9:30 a.m.
