The site is located at 3300 Maple Valley Highway. The existing ground cover is generally gravel with underlying Puyallup soils. UPSTREAM TRIBUTARY AREA There is little if any upstream tributary area draining onto the site. LEVEL 1 DRAINAGE ANALYSIS On-site runoff sheet flows northeast from the site onto Southeast 6th Street. Then, the flows continue east in the gutter along Southeast 6" Street approximately 350-ft to a catch basin located along Maplewood Avenue. The runoff continues southwest in a 12-inch diameter pipe approximately 150-ft to a catch basin located along the south side of Maple Valley Highway. From the catch basin, the runoff continues west in a 24-inch diameter City of Renton storm system along the Maple Valley Highway. This pipe discharges into the Cedar River approximately 1000-ft downstream. The proposed storm system consists of collecting the on-site runoff into a 36" diameter water quality tank and conveying it into an existing 48-inch detention tank in the parking lot for the Taco Time Corporate Office. The detention tank discharges into the City of Renton storm system along Monroe Avenue, which ties into the 24-inch diameter storm pipe along the south side of the Maple Valley Highway.
