The subject parcel is a .168 acre site located at the intersec-
tion of Shattuck Ave . South and South 7th Street in Renton Wa . .
Consisting of a existing single family residence that will be re-
placed with a Dental office. In evaluating the site in respect to
Storm drainage we have come up with the following recommenda-
tions :
1 ) The run-off generated by the parking area will be captured
by extruded concrete curbing and routed into a control device
located at the low point of the parking facility.
2 ) The roof drains will be routed into the control device lo-
cated in the parking area.
3 ) The low portion of the parking area will function as a
detention pond, with the over-flow being captured by a swale,
which will route the over-flow to a catch basin 10 ft to the
South.
4 ) upon existing the control device the storm water will be
tight lined to an existing Storm water man-hole located in the
intersection of Shattuck & 7th.
In conclusion our calculations show that no additional flooding
will occur to the development of the site if our recommendations
are adhered too.
