As per your request and in accordance with Section 1-08.6 of the contract specifications, the
City of Renton is suspending the work beginning on August 24, 2012. Work shall resume on
September 10, 2012 unless otherwise authorized by the City.

We are advised that you are the prime contractor for improvement of the property situated at or
near the following address: Earlington Sewer Replacement, SW Langston & Earlington SW ,
Renton, WA.
This is to notify you that on or about 07/16/2012, ISCO Industries, LLC has commenced or will
commence to deliver materials to be used upon the real property and all improvements being
constructed by you at the above address.
These materials, supplies or rented equipment were ordered by Buno Construction, LLC and
consist of all materials and supplies necessary to provide HDPE Pipe, Fittings and/or Fusion
Equipment.
ISCO Industries, LLC is required by law to furnish this notice to the prime contractor on all
projects to which it delivers materials, supplies or rented equipment to give notice that in the
event of non-payment of its account, you and your payment bond will be held for payment
and/or a lien against retained percentage may be claimed. This notice is not in itself such a
claim, nor does it imply in any way that a claim may be necessary. It is sent only because
ISCO Industries, LLC is required to do so by statute.

equipment furnished after a date that is sixty days before this notice was given to you or mailed to you, unless the improvement to your property is the
construction of a new single-family residence, then ten days before this notice was given to you or mailed to you.

COMMON METHODS TO AVOID CONSTRUCTION LIENS: There are several methods available to protect your property from construction liens. The

1) DUAL PAYCHECKS (Joint Checks): When paying your contractor for services or materials, you may make checks payable jointly to the contractor
and the firms furnishing you this notice.- -
2) LIEN RELEASES: You may require your contractor to provide lien releases signed by all suppliers and subcontractors from whom you have received
this notice. If they cannot obtain lien releases because you have not paid them, you may use the dual payee check method to protect yourself.
YOU SHOULD TAKE WHATEVER STEPS YOU BELIEVE NECESSARY TO PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY FROM LIENS.
YOUR PRIME CONTRACTOR AND YOUR CONSTRUCTION LENDER ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO GIVE YOU WRITTEN;INFORMATION ABOUT
LIEN CLAIMS, IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT, ASK THEM FOR IT.
