Hobson From: Michael A Benoit Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2012 3:59 PM To: John D. Hobson Cc: David Christensen Subject: Earlington Ph II August 9, 2012: On site 8:30 — 9:30 Shoreline and Buno on -site. Temporary bypass set up from the manholes north and west of MH # 3 pumping into MH #2. Pull pit open at MH #3 and launch pit open at MH #2. Three side sewer pits open. Buno starting to shove rods down the sewer from # 3 to #2. On site 11:00 —12:00 Buno in process of pulling back the 12" HDPE from the east. HDPE broke through into the pit at MH #3 about 11:50. Estimate about an hour to hour and a half for the pull. On site 2:00 - 3:00 Side sewer reconnected for 313, 316, 402 Langston Road (312 was covered when I arrived). Stub shown for 308 was capped per the contractor as that house is served to Lind. Manhole # 3 is installed with flat top (but not completed to the surface) and the Langston mains reconnected. The line on Stevens is still being bypassed as they are excavating the pull pit north of MH #3. They should be doing cleanup and prep work on Friday as they are not scheduled to pull Stevens until Monday. MccGroel ,4. evc Project Manager Wastewater Utility City of Renton (425) 430-7206 John D. Hobson From: Michael A Benoit Sent: Wednesday, August 08, 2012 10:06 AM To: John D. Hobson , Cc: David Christensen Subject: Earlingto Phase II August 7, 2012: On site about 2:00 to 3:30. Contractor had installed Manhole # 8 and backfilled. Contractor was grouting outside adjustment rings and preparing to do the final patch. Walked the job with contractor (Jayson?) and got measurements on the final patches completed. August 8, 2012: On site about 8:30 to 9:30. Contractor is expanding the pull pit at Manhole # 3. Buno cannot burst with cable and go up two sizes. The existing pit is too small for bursting with rod. Shoreline is removing the existing manhole and temp connecting the mains together without a structure. On Thursday they plan to do the pull (about 3 hours), install new Manhole # 3 and reconnect the side sewers, and restore. On Friday, they plan to dig the pull pits on Stevens (north of MH # 3) and temp in the side sewers. On Monday they plan to Pull the 12" on Stevens, reconnect the side sewers and restore.
