We are requesting that an agenda bill for "Council Concur" be prepared for the April 29, 2013, Council Meeting. The bid opening was on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. There were nine bids received. There was one minor error.on Interwest Construction, Inc.'s bid (they were eighth highest of nine bids) that did not affect the order of bids. The low bidder is Equity Builders, LLC with a bid of $698,391.00. The engineer's estimate was $740,767.50. The project budget amount for the Lind Avenue Lift Station Replacement project (426.465481) is $800,000. The low bid for the Lind Avenue Lift Station Replacement project is within the amount approved in the 2013 budget for this project. The project will replace the existing Lind Avenue Lift Station with a new lift station that will also include an onsite backup generator to supply electricity during area power outages. The Lind Avenue Lift Station is located in an easement at the northwest corner of Lind Avenue South and South 191h Street. This will include, but not be limited to, information on the proposed source and specifications of all materials that will be used in the project (e.g.; mechanical, electrical, structures, pipe, imported aggregate materials, etc.), showing that the proposed material meets the project specifications, per Standard Specifications and Special Provisions Section 1-06.1.
