THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN TEMPORARY SEDIMENTATION COLLECTION FACILITIES TO INSURE THAT SEDIMENTATION -LADEN WATER DOES NOT ENTER THE STORM DRAINS OR NATURAL DRAINAGE SYSTEM. 12. ALL DISTURBED AREAS SUCH AS GRADED AREAS, PARKING, ROADWAYS, BACK SLOPES, ETC., SHALL BE SEEDED WITH A PERENIAL GROUND COVER GRASS TO MINIMIZE EROSION. CITY OF RENTON STANDARDS SHALL APPLY AND SHALL BE SATISFIED. GRASS SEEDING WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY AN APPROVED HYDRO - SEEDER OR AS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY THE CITY OF RENTON. 3. TEMPORARY SILTATION CONTROL FILTERS MAY BE, IN THE ALTERNATIVE, FILTER-FABRIC/ROCK CHECK DAMS, STRAW BALES PROTECTED AGAINST BY-PASS, OR WOOD -CRIB SAND FILTERS SO LONG AS FLOW IS POSITIVE THROUGH FILTER AND FULLY CONTROLLED. 4. T.E.S.C. FACILITIES SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED BY PLACING SILTATION CONTROLS WITHIN AND AROUND FLOW ZONES (NATURAL OR MAN-MADE) AND AT ANY OTHER LOCATION WHERE SEDIMENT LADEN WATER RUNS OR MAY RUN. FACILITIES SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN A SATISFACTORY CONDITION AT ALL TIMES UNTIL PERMANENT CONTROL FACILITIES ARE OPERATIONAL AND IN FINAL CONDITION. 5. PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN ALL STORM WATER CONTROL FACILITIES UNTIL PROJECT IS ACCEPTED BY THE CITY OF RENTON FOR PERMANENT MAINTENANCE. 6. REFER TO KING COUNTY AND US SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE DESIGN AND INSTALLATION GUIDELINES FOR EROSION CONTROL MEASURES AND FACILITIES. THE COST OF ALL T.E.S.C.
