Pipe bedding shall be Bedding Material for Thermoplastic Pipe per Standard Specifications 9-03.16 (as specified in the technical specifications). Bedding Material shall be placed from a minimum of 6 inches below the pipe to 12 inches above the top of the pipe, compacted to 95 percent maximum density per ASTM D1557. The contractor shall ensure proper placement and compaction of pipe bedding under the pipe haunches. CPEP storm pipe shall meet the specifications detailed in Standard Specifications 9-05.19 and 9-05.20 (as specified in the technical specifications). Section 9-05.19 shall be amended to include the following: Corrugated polyethylene storm pipe shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M 294 Type S or D for 48-inch diameter pipe. Catch Basin Type II - 72-inch Dia. Shall be per City of Renton Standard Detail B027.1. Roadway restoration including crushed surfacing base course and top course shall meet the material and installation requirements outlined in Volume 2, Technical Specifications of contract number C1311 C.
