CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
1. LOCATE CATCH BASIN SUCH THAT KNOCKOUT FOR DUCTILE
IRON SLEEVE SEPARATED FROM 60" DIA. CONCRETE PIPE
KNOCKOUT BY 1' HORIZONTAL, MINIMUM (AS MEASURED ON
INSIDE WALL OF STRUCTURE). CATCH BASIN TO HAVE
KNOCKOUT PROVIDED PRIOR TO DELIVERY TO PROJECT SITE.
2. D.I. SLEEVE SHALL EXTEND 2 FT. BEYOND BOTH SIDES OF
OUTSIDE SURFACE OF CATCH BASIN.
3. PROPOSED PVC CARRIER PIPES SHALL EACH BE OUTFITTED
WITH CALPICO MODEL M SPACERS OR APPROVED EQUAL. SEE
CASING INSTALLATION DETAIL ON THIS SHEET.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LINE AND GRADE PRIOR TO
FILLING VOIDS WITH SAND.
5. CARRIER PIPE SHALL HAVE RESTRAINED JOINTS WITHIN
