CONSTRUCTlON MEETING MUST BE HELD WITH THE CITY OF RENTON
DEVELOPMENT SERVICES 0N3|0N' PLAN REVIEW PROJECT MANAGER.
7.ALL LIMITS OF CLEARING AND AREAS OF VEGETATION PRESERVATION AS
PRESCRIBED ON THE PLAN SHALL BE CLEARLY FLAGGED IN THE FIELD AND
OBSERVED DURING CONSTRUCTION.
IALL REQUIRED SED|WENTATl(}N/ERU80N FACILITIES MUST BE CONSTRUCTED
AND IN OPERATION PRIOR TO LAND CLEARING AND/OR OTHER CONSTRUCTION
TO INSURE THAT SEDIMENT LADEN WATER DOES NOT ENTER THE NATURAL
DRAINAGE SYSTEM. ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENT FACILITIES SHALL BE
MAINTAINED IN A SATISFACTORY CONDITION UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT CLEARING
AND/OR CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED AND POTENTIAL FOR ON -SITE EROSION
HAS Pf\S5EO. THE IMPLEMENTATION, MAINTENANCE, REPLACEMENT AND
ADDITIONS TO ERO3|0N/S[D|MENTATlON CONTROL SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PERk4|TTEE.
4.THE EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL SYSTEMS ON THIS DRAWING ARE
INTENDED TO BE k4|N|KJUkJ REQUIREMENTS TO MEET ANTICIPATED SITE
CONDITIONS. AS CONSTRUCTION PROGRESSES AND UNEXPECTED OR SEASONAL
CONDITIONS DICTATE, THE P[RM|TTEE SHALL ANTICIPATE THAT MORE EROSION
AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL FACILITIES WILL BE NECESSARY TO INSURE
COMPLETE SILTATION CONTROL ON THE PROPOSED SITE. DURING THE COURSE
OF CONSTRUCTION, /T SHALL BE THE OBLIGATION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
P[RM|TTEE TO ADDRESS ANY NEW CONDITIONS THAT WAY BE CREATED BY THIS
ACTIVITIES AND TO PROVIDED ADDITIONAL FACILITIES, OVER AND ABOVE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, AS MAY BE NEEDED TO PROTECT ADJACENT
PROPERTIES AND WATER QUALITY OF THE RECEIVING DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
5,APPR0VAL OF THIS PLAN IS FOR EROS|ON/SED/k4ENTAT/ON CONTROL ONLY. IT
DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN APPROVAL OF STORM DRAINAGE DES|GN, SIZE NOR
LOCATION OF PIPES, RESTR|CTORS . CHANNELS. OR RETENTION FACILITIES.
S.DUR|NG THE TIME PERIOD OF NOVEWBER 1 THROUGH MARCH 31, ALL PROJECT
DISTURBED SOIL AREAS GREATER THAN 5,000 SQUARE FEET, THAT ARE LEFT
UNM0RKED FOR MORE THAN TWELVE '12\ HOURS' SHALL BE COVERED BY
MULCH, SODDING, OR PLASTIC COVERING.
7.|N ANY AREA WHICH HAS BEEN STRIPPED OF VEGETATION AND WHERE FURTHER
WORK IS ANDC|PATED FOR PERIOD OF 30 DAYS OR K40RE, ALL DISTURBED AREAS
MUST BE IMMEDIATELY STABILIZED WITH MULCHING, GRASS PLANTING OR
OTHER APPROVED EROSION CONTROL TREATMENT APPLICABLE TO THE TIME OF
YEAR /N QUESTION. GRASS SEEDING ALONE WILL BE ACCEPTABLE ONLY DUR!NG
THE MONTHS OF APR|L THROUGH SEPTEMBER INCLUSIVE. SEEDING MAY
PR()CEED, HOWEVER. WHENEVER IT IS /N THE INTEREST OF THE PERW|TTEE, BUT
MUST BE AUGMENTED WITH MULCHING, NETTING OR OTHER TREATMENT
APPROVED BY THE CITY OF RENTON' OUTSIDE THE SPECIFIED T!ME PER/OD.
}.FOR ALL EROS|(JN/SED/MENTAllON CONTROL PONDS WHERE THE DEAD
STORAGE DEPTH EXCEEDS O INCHES, A FENC[, A M|N|KJUW OF 3 FEET HIGH IS
REQUIRED WITH 3:1 SLOPES.
).A TEMPORARY GRAVEL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE 24' x 50' x 8" OF 4- TO O- INCH
QUARRY SPALLS SHALL BE LOCATED AT ALL POINTS OF VEHICULAR INGRESS
AND EGRESS TO THE CONSTRUCTION SITE.

MAINTENANCE STANDARDS
1. ANY SEDIMENT IN THE CATCH BASIN INSERT SHALL BE
REMOVED WHEN THE SEDIMENT HAS FILLED ONE THIRD OF
THE AVAILABLE STORAGE. THE FILTER MEDIA FOR THE INSERT
SHALL BE CLEANED OR REPLACED AT LEAST MONTHLY.
2. REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS CRITICAL FOR CATCH
BASIN PROTECTION. UNLIKE MANY FORMS OF PROTECTION THAT
FAIL GAROU4LLY' CATCH BASIN PROTECTION WILL FAIL
SUDDENLY AND COMPLETELY IF NOT MAINTAINED PROPERLY.
NOTE: THIS O[T/uL IS ONLY
SCHEMATIC. ANY INSERT IS CATCH BASIN GRATE
ALLOWED THAT HAS A MIN.
