All W dts of clearing and areas of vegetation preservation as prescribed on the plan shall be cicaLrly flagged in the field
and observed during construction_
3. All required sedimentation/erosion control facilities must be constructed- and in operation prior to land clearing and/or
other construction to insure that sediment laden water does not enter the natural drainage stistem. All erosion and
sediment facilities shall be maintained in a satisfactory condition until such time that clm ing and/or construction is
completed and potential for on -site erosion has passed. The implementation, maintenance., n pla=ricnt and additions
to erosion/sedimentation control systems shall be the responsibility of the pemutta:_
4. The erosion and sedimentation control systems depicted on this drawing are intended to be minimum requirements to
meet anticipated site conditions_ As construction progresses and unexpected or seasonal conditions dictate:, the
permiuce shall anticipate That more erosion and sedimentation control facilities will be necessary to insure complete
siltation control on the proposed site. During the course of construction, it shall be the obligation and responsibility of
the permince to address any now conditions that may be ercatc't by his activities and to provide additional facilities,
over and above minilnum requirein4rits, as may k- needed fo protect adjacent properties and water quality of the
receivig drainage system.
ti. Approval of this plan is for erosion/seditnentation control only. It does not constautcan approval of storm drainage
design, size nor location of pipes, r4siTictors, channels, Of rctcntit>'n facilities_
6. During the time period of Novcmbcr 1 through March 31, all projod disturbed soil areas grater Ilion 5,000 square
feet, that are to be left unworked for more than twelve (12) hours, Shall be covered by mulch, sodding, or plastic
c:overi &
7 In anti area which has been stripped of vegetation and where no further work- is anticipated for a period of 30 days or
more, all disturbed areas must be inunediately stabilized with mulching, grass planting or other approwxi erosion
control treatment applicable to the time of year in question. Grass seeding alone will be acceptable only durui; the
months of April through September inclusive. Swding may PFOCeed, however, whenever it Is in the interest of the.
perrllittee, but must be allglnelited with mulclwig, netting, or otlier treatment approved by the City of Renton. outside
the spe, ifird time period-
8- For all erosion/sedimcntation conLrol ponds whcrc the dead storage depth exceeds G arches, a fence, a niin nnurn of 3
feet high is required, with 3:1 side slopes.
9. A temporary gravel construction entrance, 24' x 50' x 8" of 4- to 6- inch quarry,' spalls shall be located at all Imink oL
vehicular ingress and egress to the construction site.
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1. PRE -CONSTRUCTION MEETING.
2. FLAG OR FENCE CLEARING LIMITS.
3. POST SIGN WITH NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF TESC SUPERVISOR.
4. CRADE AND INSTALL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE.
5. INSTALL PERIMETER PROTECTION (BUSH BARRIER, SILT FENCE, ETC...).
6. CONSTRUCT SEDIMENT TRAP.
7. CONSTRUCT SURFACE WATER CONTROLS (INTERCEPTOR DIKES, PIPE SLOPE DRAINS, ETC...)
SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH CLEARING AND GRADING.
8. MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL MEASURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY OF RENTON STANDARDS AND
MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS.
9• RELOCATE EROSION CONTROL MEASURES OR INSTALL NEW MEASURES SO THAT IF CONDITIONS CHANGE
THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL IS ALWAYS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF RENTON TESC
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
10. COVER ALL AREAS THAT WILL BE UNWORKED FOR MORE THAN SEVEN DAYS DURING THE DRY SEASON OR
TWO DAYS DURING THE WET SEASON WITH STRAW, WOOD FIBER MULCH, COMPOST, PLASTIC SHEETING OR
EQUIVALENT.
11. STABILIZE ALL AREAS THAT REACH FINAL GRADE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS.
12. SEED OR SOD ANY AREAS TO REMAIN UNWORKED FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS.
