HORIZONTROL CONTROLS ARE BASED ON THE NORTH AMERICAN DATUM OF 1983 (NAD 83/91)AND VERTICAL CONTROLS ARE BASED ON NORTH AMERICAN VERTICAL DATUM OF 1988 (NAVD 88) AND AS SPECIFIED AS <0.005M (± LINEAR UNCERTAINTY). WSDOT HAS SUPPLIED AN ELECTRONIC DIGITAL TERRAIN MODEL (INROADS FORMAT) AND 2D MICROSTATION .DGN FILES COMPRISED OF PHOTOGRAMMETRIC AND TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY DATA IN PROJECT DATUM COORDINATES CONVERTED FROM STATE PLANE COORDINATES USING A COMBINED FACTOR OF 1.000006285. ATTEND PRE -CONSTRUCTION MEETING AND PERMIT COMPLIANCE MEETING, AS REQUIRED BY PERMIT. 2. OBTAIN NOTICE TO PROCEED FROM CITY AND ALL REQUIRED PERMITS BEYOND THOSE PROVIDED BY CITY AND WSDOT (SEE SPECIFICATIONS) PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK. 3. COORDINATE WITH CITY / ENGINEER FOR CONSTRUCTION STAKING. STAKING TO BE PROVIDED BY CONTRACTOR. 4. INSTALL PERIMETER PROTECTION, TEMPORARY EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS, AND BMPS. 5. MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL MEASURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY AND WSDOT STANDARDS AND THESE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT. 6. CLEAR AND ROUGH GRADE SITE. 7. CONSTRUCT HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILL SECTION OF SANITARY SEWER MAIN. 8. CONSTRUCT OPEN CUT SECTION OF SANITARY SEWER MAIN SOUTH OF 1-405 PER PLANS. REFER TO SSMH 006A INSTALLATION NOTES AND SSMH 009 INSTALLATION NOTES. 9. UPON COMPLETION OF SANITARY SEWER ALIGNMENT FROM SOUTH 14TH STREET TO SMITHERS AVE SOUTH, INSTALL TEMPORARY GRAVEL ACCESS ROAD TO APPROXIMATE FINISHED GRADE, AS SHOWN ON PLANS. ADJUST RIM ELEVATIONS OF NEW SSMHS AS NECESSARY TO MEET ADJUSTED GRADE ELEVATIONS. 10. CONSTRUCT GUIDED PIPE RAM SECTION OF SANITARY SEWER MAIN. COMPLETELY REMOVE TEMPORARY SHORING SYSTEM OF BOTH SHAFTS TO PREVENT CONFLICTS WITH FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS. 11. CONSTRUCT OPEN CUT SECTION OF SANITARY SEWER MAIN NORTH OF 1-405. 12. PERFORM LEAKAGE TESTING AND TELEVISION INSPECTION OF NEW SANITARY SEWER MAIN. 13. OBTAIN CITY APPROVAL BEFORE TRANSFERRING SEWAGE TO NEW SANITARY SEWER MAIN. CONNECT TO EXISTING SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM. REFER TO SWITCHOVER SEQUENCE. 14. CCTV THE EXISTING SEWER MAIN BETWEEN SSMH 2267 AND SSMH 2257 TO CONFIRM NO CONNECTIONS. NOTIFY CITY AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR TO CCTV OF MAIN. IF NO CONNECTIONS ARE FOUND DURING CCTV OF MAIN, PLUG EXISTING PIPE AT SSMH 2257 TO THE SOUTH. IF CONNECTION(S) ARE FOUND, PLUG EXISTING PIPE AT SSMH 2267 TO THE SOUTH. 15. ABANDON EXISTING SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES AS SHOWN ON PLANS AND AS REQUIRED IN ABANDONMENT SEQUENCE. 16. PERFORM SURFACE RESTORATION. RESTORE SITE NORTH OF 1-405 TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION, UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY WSDOT. 17. AFTER ALL DANGER OF EROSION HAS PASSED AND AFTER APPROVAL BY CITY AND WSDOT, COORDINATE REMOVAL OR TRANSFER OF TEMPORARY BMPS WITH FOLLOW-UP CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. 18. PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION RECORD DRAWINGS. NOTE: THIS IS A POSSIBLE SEQUENCE. FINAL SEQUENCE SHALL BE DEVELOPED BY CONTRACTOR AND SUBJECT TO REVIEW BY OWNER. SSMH 006A INSTALLATION NOTES: 1. INSTALL A TEMPORARY BYPASS SYSTEM AND PUMP SEWAGE FROM EXISTING SSMH 2292 TO EXISTING SSMH 0057. CONTRACTOR CAN EXPECT A PEAK FLOW RATE OF UP TO 25 GPM. 2. EXPOSE AND REMOVE APPLICABLE SECTION OF EXISTING 8" CLAY SEWER MAIN, 3. INSTALL NEW SSMH 006A PER PLANS AND IN DETAIL 7, SHEET 10. 4. PLUG DROP CONNECTION TO PREVENT SEWAGE FROM ENTERING NEW SYSTEM UNTIL THE CITY HAS APPROVED SWITCHOVER. 5. ONCE THE CONTRACTOR HAS RECEIVED APPROVAL FOR DEACTIVATION OF EXISTING SYSTEM AND SWITCHOVER TO NEW SYSTEM, REFER TO SWITCHOVER SEQUENCE, BELOW. SSMH 009 INSTALLATION NOTES: 1. INSTALL A TEMPORARY BYPASS SYSTEM AND PUMP SEWAGE FROM EXISTING SSMH 2270 TO EXISTING SSMH 2269. CONTRACTOR CAN EXPECT A PEAK FLOW RATE OF UP TO 400 GPM. 2. INSTALL NEW SSMH 009 PER PLANS AND CONNECT TO EXISTING SYSTEM TO NORTH AND SOUTH AS WELL AS NEW SYSTEM TO THE EAST. 3. PLUG CONNECTION TO NEW SYSTEM TO THE EAST UNTIL THE CITY HAS APPROVED SWITCHOVER. 4. ONCE THE CONTRACTOR HAS RECEIVED APPROVAL FOR DEACTIVATION OF EXISTING SYSTEM AND SWITCHOVER TO NEW SYSTEM, REFER TO SWITCHOVER SEQUENCE, BELOW. SWITCHOVER SEQUENCE 1. AT SSMH 001, CUT OUT TOP OF EXISTING PIPE IN SADDLE MANHOLE. 2. AT SSMH 003, CUT OUT TOP OF EXISTING PIPE IN SADDLE MANHOLE, AND PLUG THE EXISTING PIPE TO THE NORTH. 3. AT SSMH 004 AND SSMH 005B, CUT OUT TOP OF EXISTING PIPE IN SADDLE MANHOLE, AND PLUG THE EXISTING PIPE TO THE NORTH. CONTRACTOR TO START WITH THE MOST DOWNSTREAM MANHOLE (SSMH 004) AND WORK ITS WAY UPSTREAM TO SSMH 007. 4. AT SSMH 006A, REMOVE THE TEMPORARY PLUG FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE DROP CONNECTION AND CUT AND REMOVE THE TEMPORARY 8" PVC PIPE WITHIN THE MANHOLE. REFERENCE SSMH 006A INSTALLATION DETAIL ON THE DETAIL SHEET. 5. AT SSMH 007, CUT OUT TOP OF EXISTING PIPE, AND PLUG THE EXISTING PIPE TO THE NORTH. 6. CONNECT EXISTING SIDE SEWER FOR PARCEL 3340401545 TO NEW SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM. CUT AND CAP EXISTING SIDE SEWER CONNECTION TO EXISTING SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM. 7. AT SSMH 009, REMOVE THE TEMPORARY PLUG AND PLUG THE EXISTING PIPE TO THE NORTH. �S.
