MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Between
City of Renton (City)
And
King County Fire District 40 (KCFD 40)
The CITY and Commission agree to amend the inter local agreement by and between CITY OF
RENTON and KCFD 40
The City and KCFD 40 agree to modify Fire Station 13's maintenance facility in order to install
shelving for hard and soft operational supplies. No work will be done that will compromise the
pending lawsuit between KCFD 40 and the contractor of then Fire Station 42. Upon signing this
memorandum both parties have agreed to the following conditions.
• The City of Renton will pay for all labor and supplies related to the modification of the
maintenance facility and installation of shelving.
• Should it no longer be needed in the remodeled configuration, and it is the desire of the
Commission to return the facility to its original use, the City of Renton agrees to pay all
costs to place the maintenance facility into its pre-remodel condition as long as KCFD 40
owns the facility.
