SUMMARY OF PROPOSED CHANGE:
Contract Expiration Date Extension
The contract expiration date in the City Clerk's records was set by the City's Contract Checklist as
December 31,2015. The contract expiration date is a date that the City expects that all physical and
paperwork for a project will be completed. It is not the same as the contract working days.
The project is considered substantially complete and working days are no longer being tracked. The only
construction work remaining is to complete the reconstruction and testing of the irrigation system. That work
is expected to be completed in January 2016. After all work is completed it may take three to four months
(about May 2016)to process the Final Pay Estimate,complete project acceptance,and to receive all state
releases for the retainage.
This change order changes the contract expiration date in the City Clerk's records to December 31, 2016.
There are no additional costs for this change order.
There are no additional working days for this change order.
