It was recommended that all construction stormwater from disturbed areas be conveyed through sediment pond(s)or other appropriate sediment removal Best Management Practices(BMP's),per General Permit Condition S9-D4. Based on this recommendation and agreement by the City and Contractor,the SWPPP was modified to include portable treatment facilities that would minimize sediment discharges from the site. Description of Work Work shall include the mobilization,operation,maintenance,and demobilization of portable treatment facilities within the project limits including all associated pumping equipment,temporary piping and appurtenances,and personnel as required for maintenance and operation as shown in the contractor's SWPPP dated May 2012. Description of Change Lump sum bid item"A275—portable stormwater treatment facilities"shall be added to schedule A to capture the work described above. Material No new material shall be incorporated into the project due to this change. Plans/Specifications No specification or plan changes were made as a result of this change. Timeline A total of,0_additional working days will be included with this change order. At this time, no critical path impacts have been realized due to the implementation of the Best Management Practices being utilized on the project and as described in the Change Order. If the Contractor experienced delays to the critical path work, due to this Change,Contractor shall prepare a Time Impact Analysis(TIA)illustrating the influence of the delay on the Contract Completion Date or milestones.The most recent monthly updated Type B schedule accepted by the Engineer shall be used to display the impacts of the change.Any cost associated with delays will be addressed in a future change order.
