Upon review of those samples,the City determined that the stamped look was not preferred. In addition, it was determined that decorative stamped concrete pavement would complicate future maintenance. Therefore,the City chose an alternate"seeded" decorative river rock treatment that would be both aesthetically pleasing as well as maintenance friendly. In the interest of long term maintenance the decorative stamped concrete pavement in the landscaped median areas was deleted. Description of Change Per Field Work Directive 59a,the decorative stamped concrete pavement as shown on pages 4 through 14 of this change order,shall be replaced with a decorative river rock treatment per page 3 of this change order. Per the progress meeting held on 7/15/13,the decorative rock treatment shall receive a clear sealer. The remaining decorative stamped concrete pavement in the landscaped areas shall be deleted and replaced with additional cubic yardage of Top Soil Type A and Bark or Wood Chip Mulch. Material Decorative River Rock shall conform to section 9-03.11(2)Streambed Cobbles,6"Cobbles,of the Standard Specifications. Mortar shall conform to section 6-02.3(2)B, of the Standard Specifications. Decorative River Rock Sealer shall be as approved by the Engineer. Specification No specifications were revised as a result of this Change Order. Timeline A total of 0 additional working days will be included with this change order.
