Description of Work
Design changes to modify the scope of the project between Sunset/S.3rd Street and S.2nd Street.
The Local Agency of City of Renton
desires to supplement the agreement entered into with KPG,Inc.
and executed on 10/5/2009 and identified as Agreement No. CAG-09-170
All provisions in the basic agreement remain in effect except as expressly modified by this supplement.
The changes to the agreement are described as follows:
Section 1, SCOPE OF WORK, is hereby changed to read:

Scope of Work
July 20th,2011
Purpose
Due to budget constraints for the project,the City has elected to reduce the scope of the
project, north of Sunset/S 3rd Street to S 2nd Street. While the project limits remain the same, a
.number of design elements have been eliminated from this segment of the project. Therefore;
he plans need to be modified to reflect these changes. This will require additional design work
on the drawings and utility coordination. The design elements to remain within this segment of
the project include new channelization,signing and ADA wheelchair ramps::
Changes to the plans, estimates and specifications have become necessary as,follows:'
Task 7-Utility Coordination.
7.3 The Consultant shall coordinate with franchise utilities to incorporate the
necessary relocations, adjustments,or upgrades into the project design. Design
of franchise utility relocations,adjustments,or upgrades will be completed by
the utility owner and is not included in this scope of work.
Additional coordination'with the franchise utilities will be required to
adjust their utility relocation plans based on the revised project limits.

Task 10—Prepare Final Plans, Specifications and Estimates
10.5 The consultant shall incorporate City review comments and finalize the
contract documents including preparation of engineer's.construction cast..
estimate ready for bid advertisement.
Changes to the plans that will occur with the deletion of most of the work
north of Sunset Blvd/S 2"d Street are as follows:
