AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN HORIZON AND
THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON
This amendment is entered into between the City of Renton (City) and Horizon and amends and attaches
to and is part of the existing Agreement entered into previously between the parties on September 22,
2008 (Reference: CAG # 08 — 171). This is the second amendment to this contract and Horizon is the
sole source provider for this service.
The parties agree to the following amendments:
Section 1. Scope of Service: The Contractor will provide all material and labor necessary to perform all
work described in the Proposal which is included with this Agreement as Attachment "A".
Section 3.Time of Performance: The Contractor shall commence performance of the Contract no later
than December 31. 2014 after Contract's final execution, and shall complete the full performance of
the Contract through December 31,2017 (three year contract)
Section 4. Contract Sum: The total amount of this Contract is the sum of Nine thousand three
hundred ninety-eight dollars and thirty-nine cents, $9,398.39 which includes Washington State Sales
Tax. Payment will be in three annual installments. One at$3,132.79 and Two at$3,132.80
In all other respects, the Scope of Services, Changes in Scope of Services, Time of Performance, Method
of Payment, Prevailing Wages, Warranty, Independent Contractor, Discrimination Prohibited,
Assignment and Subcontract, Record Keeping and Reporting, Hold Harmless, Termination, Renton
Business License, Insurance and Exhibits to Agreements of both parties shall remain the same as agreed
to in the Horizon Distributors, Inc. Agreement.

Global Service Plan (GSP) renewal
2014-2017
For Rainbird Central Irrigation control
From Horizon
The current operating system for the central irrigation control at
Maplewood Golf Course was purchased in 2008. The irrigation
operating system and irrigation control computer is specific to the
Rainbird irrigation system utilized at the golf course. This is a
standalone system and not included in the IT Department oversight.
The GSP is a part of the system that will provide 24 hour technical
support for the operating system software.
The GSP system has been utilized for the past 10 years with great
support and service from the Rainbird Company and Horizon.
