Call for Performers—Renton Multicultural Festival, September 22 and 23
RENTON, WA -- The City of Renton will present the second annual Renton Multicultural Festival on
September 22 and 23, 2017, and is looking for interested performers including artists, musicians,
dance groups and more.
If you or your group are interested in performing at the festival, please email Carrie Nass at
cnass@rentonwa.gov with the following information. Submission deadline is June 1st.

Brief description of your plans to engage the audience by sharing your story or a
demonstration
We're looking for a variety of talents whose performances demonstrate their culture and
individuality. Performers must be willing to share how their art form supports their culture and/or
engage with festival attendees in a brief demonstration.
The festival’s opening night, on Friday, September 22, will be at Carco Theatre from 7 to 10 p.m. Day
two, Saturday, September 23, will start at 3 p.m. and run through 7 p.m. at the Renton Pavilion Event
Center.
