City of Renton and KCLS present free Summer Extravaganza for youth
Three events planned in July featuring arts and crafts, lunch, and entertainment
Renton, WA – The City of Renton is partnering with the King County Library System to present three free Summer
Extravaganzas at two locations around the city.
The events are for children under 18 years of age and features free arts and crafts, lunch, and entertainment. No
pre-registration is required.
The first two will be held on July 13 and 14 at Heritage Park, 233 Union Ave NE, and the third on July 28 at Liberty
Park, 1101 Bronson Way N.

Thursday, July 13

11:00 am - 1:00 pm: Free Arts & Crafts, Group Games
11:45 am - 12:15 pm: Lunch for Ages 18 & under
1:00 pm: GROW by Eli Rosenblatt. Celebrate the amazing, growing world of plants and animals through music and
dance, and learn how to grow together!
Friday, July 14
Liberty Park
1101 Bronson Way N
10:00 am: RE-BUILD-IT TOWN presented by KC Puppetree. Enjoy a fun, interactive musical puppet show about a
monster who has stormed through town, leaving a mess of garbage behind.
11:00 -11:20 am: Lunch for Ages 18 & under
11:00 am - 1:00 pm: Free Arts & Crafts, Group Games
