WHAT: Kick off the holiday season in Renton with the annual Ivar’s Clam Lights display, featuring free
entertainment for the whole family.
Bring your camera for a photo opportunity with Ivar’s strolling “Clam” character and Santa &
Mrs. Claus at Santa’s Sleigh (located at the North Picnic Shelter). Enjoy holiday entertainment
provided by the Lindbergh High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Bundle up at the bonfire at the
“Hawk’s Nest,” the North Picnic Shelter festively decorated in blue and green, marvel at the
Rainier Yacht Club’s “Parade of Boats,” and the Argosy Christmas Ship featuring the Dickens
Carollers.
Join the conversation and post photos with the hashtag #clamlights2017.
WHO: Mayor Denis Law, event sponsor Ivar’s, and entertainment sponsor Puget Sound Energy will
perform the ceremonial lighting.

Ivar’s Clam Lights will run nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. from December 2 through January 1, 2018. There is no
charge for admission and free parking is available at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
