2023 HUMAN SERVICES AGREEMENT CAG# 23-152
REACH Meal Coalition Program
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as August 23, 2023, is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Renton Ecumenical
Association of Churches (“REACH” or “Agency”). The City and the Agency are referred to
collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this
Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Agency under Agreement CAG-23-152, dated April
27, 2023 to provide necessary services for the REACH Meal Coalition Program (referred to herein
as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to update the scope of services for 4

Quarter 2023, with no change to the total contract amount.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-23-152 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Services, in Exhibit A is amended to update the scope
of work for 2023 as contemplated in the Agency Program Overview, and as described
below (underline = new language added; strikethrough = language deleted to Exhibit A):
Agency Program Overview:
The REACH Meal Coalition Program at 300 Rainier Ave. N, Renton, WA 98057 will be discontinued
on or before after September 15, 2023 and all Agency materials removed by midnight on that
date due to upcoming demolition of the building by the City of Renton. For 4
th Quarter 2023,
REACH will hold two Holiday meal events (Thanksgiving and Christmas) at Luther’s Table in
Renton, or other similar venue for vulnerable and homeless Renton clients. It is anticipated that
approximately 20-25 persons will attend each event.

2.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
