2023 EHHS-NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAMS
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as September 6, 2023, is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Giggles Entertainment,
Inc. (“Consultant”), a Washington profit corporation. The City and the Consultant are referred to
collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this
Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-23-049, dated
February 5, 2023, to provide necessary services for the Neighborhood Program (referred to
herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of workwith no change
to the budget in order to exchange one face painter for one balloon artist, and reschedule a
previously scheduled date.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-23-049 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to reschedule one event, and
exchange one face painter for one balloon artist as specified in Exhibit A-1, which is
attached and incorporated herein.
2.Time of Performance:Section 3, Engagement Dates, Times, and Locations, is amended to
reschedule a fifth event, and add one face painter for that event, pursuant to terms of
Exhibit A-1.
3.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.

Scope of Work
Moon Cake Festival
Renton Community Center
September 29, 2023
5-7 p.m.
Provide one balloon artist and one face painter at the Moon Cake Festival, a city-sponsored event. We
are anticipating approximately 200 attendees that will include more than 50 children. The event will
be hosted indoors at the Renton Community Center with the doors opening to the public at 5 p.m. The
event will include cultural performances consisting of dance and martial arts demonstrations. The city
is finalizing the promotion materials for this event.
Each balloon artist and face painter will be present for two hours from 5-7 p.m. and charge $150 per
hour. Total cost to the city for this event is $600.
The balloon artist and face painter will arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start time of the
event to set up their respective stations. The city will provide one 6-foot table and two folding chairs
for each artist. The balloon artist will bring all balloon supplies (balloon pump, balloons, and other
supplies needed to perform). The face painter will bring all paint, application tools and other supplies
needed to perform.
Upon arrival, artists will check in with a city staff member who will direct them to their performance
area.
