7.CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT REMOVE ANY TREES DURING CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT THE EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE
PROJECT MANAGER.
8.EXISTING VEGETATION TO REMAIN SHALL BE PROTECTED. WHERE PROPOSED TREE LOCATIONS OCCUR UNDER EXISTING
OVERHEAD UTILITIES OR CROWD EXISTING TREES, NOTIFY PROJECT MANAGER TO ADJUST TREE LOCATIONS.
9.LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE PERIOD BEGINS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE COMPLETION OF ALL PLANTING OPERATIONS AND WRITTEN
NOTIFICATION TO THE OWNER. MAINTAIN TREES, SHRUBS, AND OTHER PLANTS UNTIL FINAL ACCEPTANCE.
10.REMOVE EXISTING WEEDS FROM PROJECT SITE PRIOR TO THE ADDITION OF ORGANIC AMENDMENTS AND FERTILIZER. APPLY
AMENDMENTS AND FERTILIZER PER THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE SOIL ANALYSIS FROM THE SITE.
11.ALL PLANTS SHALL BE NURSERY GROWN AND SIMILAR SIZE AND FORM. FULL SIZED CONTAINERS ONLY - NO TRADE SIZES ALLOWED.
MEASUREMENTS, CALIPER, BRANCHING, GRADING QUALITY, BALLING AND BURLAPPING SHALL FOLLOW THE AMERICAN STANDARD
OF NURSERY STOCK BY THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF NURSERYMEN, LATEST EDITION.
12.CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN WRITTEN APPROVAL FOR ALL PLANT MATERIAL SUBSTITUTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
13.CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO INSTALL ALL PLANT MATERIAL IN THE SIZE SPECIFIED ON PLAN PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.

17.PREPARE AREAS TO BE PLANTED ACCORDING TO PLANT REQUIREMENTS. PLANTING PIT FOR TREES WILL BE A MINIMUM RADIUS OF
THREE (3) TIMES THE ROOT BALL DIAMETER. THE SIDES OF THE HOLE WILL BE SLOPED AT FORTY-FIVE DEGREES (45°) AND

18.DAMAGED PLANTS WILL BE REJECTED AND SHALL BE REPLACED AT NO COST TO THE OWNER. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
