GENERAL INFORMATION
Arrived on site for visual inspection of welded headed rebar dowels to piles.
Visually inspected completed welding for conformance with the approved WPS, AWS D1.4, detail 2/S-9, and city
of Renton specifications.
Visually inspected completed welding on (3) piles at the north abutment, east, west, and center piles.
(4) of the welds at the west and center piles were not in conformance with the approved detail for length. Spoke
with Aaron from American Construction about the issue, the issue is being addressed.
Welding continued on the south side abutment at the east, west, and center piles.
