Arrived on site for observation of welding.
The construction documents referenced for this inspection include: AWS D1.4 2018.
SUMMARY OF SERVICES
Performed procedure qualification testing for welder Rob Ball, welding #8 ASTM A706-60 Reinforcing steel to ASTM A252 Grade 2/3 pipe
material cut into a plate shape. See attached PQR form for more details.
SUMMARY OF TESTING
Visual testing appears to be in conformance with AWS D1.4 acceptance criteria.
The results of observation(s) for today were reported to Aaron McMahill.
COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
To the best of our knowledge, the items inspected today are in conformance with approved plans and specifications.
