Comments
The Duwamish Tribe has received notice of the application for a new
boat lift at 3101 Mountain View Ave N. If the committee or members
of the Tribal Council have concern of cultural or ecological damage,
we will provide comments, guidance and requests to preserve
Duwamish territory and history. The Tribe strongly recommends that,
if applicable, any heavy construction that causes intense vibration be
performed outside of the fish and wildlife windows of migration,
mating, nesting, and young rearing. In the unlikely event that
archaeological work is performed, the Tribe requests notification and
would like the opportunity to be on site.
