We requested that the street trees and lighting along the talbot frontage be included in the deferral
as it is not a requirement of KC Metro’s project, and they could drop these items if they need “value
engineer” their project and eliminate these from their proposed project. We discussed this originally
with Chip and he at that time agreed to these items being included in the deferral. If there is a
change, please let us know.

Vanessa, I think I have an email already but cant find it right now on the road.
There were prior conversations on Talbot and Home Depot vs. Metro responsibilities. At least my
recoloration was Metro was going to do from the ROW out to the street and HD ROW in. The
question has come back up with Jonathon team about the construction of this work. Can you
confirm my understanding above and let me know if we need a follow up conversation on the issue.
