Jonathan, we agreed on 10 feet and now I am being asker for more. I believe the discrepancies in the two ROW are
minor(the biggest discrepancy between HD proposed ROW and Metro is less than a 1 foot) . I would also like to how
Metro is not building there project to City Standard with required lights and landscape. As you can see below the TCE
request is well beyond their limit of work and at this point I believe they are asking for more than they need.
I would like to move forward with the lot line adjustment recording as submitted.

KC Metro’s response to reducing easement area:
“We are widening the roadway and pushing the curb back and so need additional room behind the sidewalk to
conform grades, restore landscaping, and tie-in existing driveways. I am attaching our 90% site preparation
and paving plans along their frontage. This should give them an idea of the extents needed for the proposed
work. Let me know if you need anything else.”

10 foot) TCE – this will allow them to install the sidewalk.

Dan,
We need this TCE document executed with the LLA or an update to the LLA to show 2-foot of dedication. Without either,
KC Metro will not be able to construct their improvements. Attached are Metro’s latest construction plans and
easement area needed to complete the improvements. This benefits Home Depot as it ensures a timely install of the
improvements, and subsequent return of the cash surety (for the deferrals).
The temp easement allows Metro and Metro’s contractor to step onto private property for the purposes of constructing
the ROW improvements. The easement area is wider at the driveways because Metro will be replacing driveway curbs,
adding ADA ramps, and paving the driveway (see attached). Easement area shall be restored to current condition or
better.

Jonathan looking at this again – this is a pretty big area. We talked in the field about some addition room for
construction purposes to install the sidewalk?
Luis – please plot this on the site plan so I can see it.

Please see attached the Temporary Construction Easement for the KC Metro RapidRide I-Line. As I mentioned at the site
yesterday, this is a temporary easement only, and shall be null after December 30, 2026.
