Hi, John. I can only provide and so can a project manager an estimate. Per my note below:
“The amount noted on this email is an estimated cost; however PSE’s Schedule 85 line extension tariff requires
customers to pay the actual cost of construction. PSE will determine the actual cost of the job once construction is
complete. If the actual cost of the job is more than 10% above or below the estimated cost, an additional billing or
refund will result to account for the difference. If the scope of work changes from “details known at this time,” this
estimate will become void until an updated estimate is obtained.”
This is our protocol.

Hi, John. Per our conversation I will be your contact for rough ballpark (feasibility) until you have a plan, then we will
work on the app and site plan and get you to a pm.
For now, for burying existing PSE overhead 3-phase feeder along SE Renton Maple Valley Rd will be around $350K to
$400K a foot plus customer will additionally pay for all excavation, trenching, backfill, restoration, permits and
easements.

If the city makes you underground the existing overhead single phase on the property (running north to south) the
rough ballpark estimate will be around $185 a foot plus customer will additionally pay for all excavation, trenching,
backfill, restoration, permits and easements.

Thank you for contacting Puget Sound Energy. In order to start working and designing your project we need a couple
more pieces of project information from you.
The following information is required for design and permitting submissions:
• Application: Please complete attached application.
• Site plan: A CAD drawing will be required for your project (see below for requirements). This drawing may be the
Civil Drawings submitted for building permit.
The CAD drawings for your project should include the following information:
• Property Lines, Roads, Lots & Building footprints (include driveways if planned)
• Water Main (with stub locations )
• Storm Drainage
• Sewer Main & Profile
• Cross Section for Roads
• Surveyed location of any existing facilities (vaults, poles, homes, fences, construction)
