markings.

biditem,paymentisbasedona4Ͳinchwidthofprofiledplasticlineappliedperfoot.Thecontract
plans(DrawingNo.20)requirednewprofiledplasticlanelinestomatchthelongitudinallane
markingpatternsthatexistedonthebridgepriortopavingthenewHMAwearingcourse.Some
oftheexistinglanemarkingswerewidelinesof8Ͳinchwidth.Thiswouldrequiretwopassesof
4Ͳinchwidthprofiledplasticlines.Theplanquantitydidnotaccountforthis.Thischangeorder
addstheWSDOTstandardbiditem,ProfiledPlasticWideLine,toaccountforthelongitudinal
