2.The name, source, intensity, and location of the sound/project limits. POTELCO , trucks and Sawzall.
3.Description of work. UNDERGROUNDING OVERHEAD LINE APPROX. 400' INSTALLING THREE POLES,
CONNECTION OF WIRE TO THREE JBOXES AND ONE PADMOUNTED TRANSFORMER. WE ARE
TAKING OUT COMMERICAL CUSTOMERS TO TRANSFER WIRES TO A NEW JBOX.
4.The equipment and vehicles used for the work (please provide a table of the equipment to be used
with its appropriate decibels).
Vehicles: 3 LINE TRUCKS 85db @ 50'
1 TON TRUCK 85db @ 50'
Sawzall: 85db @ 50’
5.Proposed Noise Mitigating Measures the applicant will implement to minimize the sound level
violations. Use hand tools when possible. Limit run time of gas‐powered equipment.
6.Any additional information or studies regarding any aspect of the requested variance that is deemed
necessary to complete the review of the variance request. THIS IS FOR RENTON HOUSING
AUTHORITY-CITY IS AWARE OF THIS JOB.
7.The hours during the day and/or night the noise will occur. 10Pm‐5am
8.The number of days and/or nights the noise will occur. 2 Night
9.The ambient sound level during the time of day or night for which the variance is being sought.

10. The time period (include start date and end date) for which the variance is requested. We will need
1-2 nights to complete outage related work. The date will depend on when the noise variance is
issued.
11. The reason for which the noise violation cannot be avoided, i.e. why work cannot be performed
within allowed times. OUTAGE NEEDED FOR COMMERICAL CUSTOMERS TO TRANSFER PRIMARY
WIRES TO NEW JBOX.
12. Mitigating conditions that the applicant will implement to minimize the sound level violations. Use
