RENTON (DBA RENTON DOWNTOWN PARTNERSHIP)
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as November 15, 2023, is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Main Street Renton dba
Renton Downtown Partnership (“Consultant”), a Washington non-profit corporation. The City
and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully
executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-033, dated
December 28, 2021, to provide necessary services for the for the organizational development
and Washington Main Street community designation, including the development and
maintenance of a strategic plan, implementation of economic development initiatives, and
collaboration with the City to achieve comprehensive downtown revitalization. (referred to
herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend the time for performance, and add
a closeout report in order to foster and document the ongoing success and advancement of the
Main Street program and downtown revitalization. This adjustment aims to provide continued
support to the current executive director and board, facilitating the seamless continuation of the
program with due consideration to the utilization of existing funds specified in the contract.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-033 is amended as follows:
1.Time of Performance: Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended to extend the timeline
by 11 (eleven) months for the completion of the previous scope of work. All Work shall
be completed no later than December 31, 2024.
2.Scope of Work: Exhibit A, Deliverables, is amended to add a third “Final Closeout” report
to the City not later than December 15, 2024.
3.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
