As a fierce advocate for wage and wealth justice and a young person involved in
community organizing, I know the importance and impact of fair and strong minimum
wage policies. Renton is falling behind compared to our King County neighbors, and if
we want to retain our workers we need this legislation. I'm seeking an appointment to
the pro committee to voice my approval of Initiative Measure 23-02, and help lead the
discussion on why it should be implemented, and how we can build a better future with
it.
