AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AGREEMENT FOR WIRELESS
CONFIGURATION SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as November 16, 2023, is by and between
the City of Renton (the "City"), a Washington municipal corporation, and Warranty Plus Service
Center, Inc.; OBA Synchronous Technologies ("Consultant"), a Washington Profit Corporation.
The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the "Parties." Once
fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both
parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-408, dated
December 14, 2022, to provide necessary services for the wireless install, configuration, and
testing services (referred to herein as the "Agreement");
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work, time for
performance and change the compensation in order to add services for Liberty Park Community
Center.
NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-408 is amended as follows:
1.Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work at Liberty Park
Community Center as specified in Exhibit A, which is attached and incorporated herein.
2.Time of Performance: Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended pursuant to the
schedule(s) set forth in Exhibit A. All Work shall be performed by no later than June 30,
2024.
3.Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $2500.00 from $9,000.00 to
$11,500.00 plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation
shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s) or amounts
specified in Exhibit A, which is attached and incorporated herein.
4.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.

Hourly Services Scope of Work (SOW)
Warranty Plus DBA Synchronous Technologies (ST) will provide hourly services, as described in the Scope of Services
section below, to assist City of Renton (COR). COR will be responsible for project management and achieved results.
The hours specified below do not imply or commit a fixed-price contract.
Hourly services will be provided in the following work areas:
•Perform a predictive/virtual wireless survey and analysis of Liberty Park Community Center
•Provide a predictive heat map, using Aruba Central, and a recommended AP layout
•Provide a quote, for Access points and mounts, for Liberty Park Community Center
If ST determines the necessity to exceed the hours or estimated end date, ST will notify COR as soon as practical. In this
event, COR may authorize additional hours or extend the SOW end date. If COR chooses to terminate ST services, COR
agrees to pay ST for actual hours used.
Scope of Services
ST will assist COR with network support services. The period of service coverage is through December 31, 2023.
Key Assumptions
Estimates provided by ST to perform the SOW are based on the following key assumptions:
The success of this SOW will require active participation from resources from both COR and ST. Appropriate COR
resources knowledgeable about the current environment will be available to guide ST resources throughout the duration
of this work effort.
Hourly Services may be performed remotely and at local COR sites.
COR will provide any required security clearances and building access for ST resources.
COR will provide project related equipment {hardware / software) required to perform services in specified work areas.
COR will provide a suitable workspace for ST resources while ST is on-site at COR locations

ST Responsibilities
Network Consulting
Description: ST will work with COR staff and provide network consulting, installation/ implementation assistance.
This SOW defines the following work areas:
•Perform a predictive/virtual wireless survey and analysis of Liberty Park Community Center
•Provide a predictive heat map, using Aruba Central, and a recommended AP layout
•Provide a quote, for Access points and mounts, for Liberty Park Community Center
Completion: This task is ongoing and will complete according to the Completion Criteria below.
Deliverable materials: None
COR Responsibilities
Prior to the start of this SOW, COR will designate a manager, to whom all ST communications will be addressed and who
has the authority to act for COR on all aspects of this SOW.
The COR Manager responsibilities include:
1.Serve as the interface between ST and COR (COR departments/ organizations, sites, and other consulting firms
and vendors engaged in the SOW).
2.Provide assistance to resolve and escalate issues within the COR organization when necessary.
3.Provide access to the appropriate COR resources throughout the SOW term to provide information, feedback or
other such items deemed necessary to the contract effort.
4.Overall Project Management and results obtained from ST work efforts and recommendations during this SOW.

Completion Criteria
Services will end when 1) COR advises ST, that additional services are not required, or 2) ST provides 10 hours of work
at �$200/hour, or 3) the SOW end date is reached, whichever item occurs first.
Upon mutual agreement the SOW end date may be extended.
Charges
The estimated charges are $2500.00 plus applicable taxes
ST will invoice COR as service hours are provided.
