Re: Reappointment to the Airport Advisory Committee
Dear Ms. DeMund:
At the regular Council meeting of May 11, 2020, the Renton City Council concurred in your
reappointment by Mayor Armondo Pavone to the Airport Advisory Committee (Kennydale
Neighborhood, alternate position) expiring May 7, 2023.
Please note to date we have not received your"Certificate of Training" form confirming
completion of the Open Public Meetings Act training, as required by Washington State Law RCW
42.30.205.
In order to comply with this regulation please view the short training video (approximately 16
minutes), sign the enclosed form and return it to our office at your earliest convenience, either
by U.S. mail or by e-mail to Jseth@rentonwa.gov. The video is located on the City website at
www.rentonwa.gov/CityClerk, labeled as "Lesson 1 Open Public Meetings Act—RCW 42.30 and
42.32."The video is also located at the Washington State Office of Attorney General Web page
"Open Government Training" http://www.atg.wa.gov/open-government-training.
