The site has an existing building on site with canopy and associated paved areas. Everything on site is existing to remain. No construction is being proposed for the site with the exception of the added planting and irrigation at the street frontage along Grady Way. There should be no disturbance in the driplines of trees to remain. Summary: Nineteen (19) trees were documented on property. Nine (9) trees were documented in the right of way to the north and south. Two (2) trees were documented on a neighboring parcel to the east. All trees were tagged with numbers and locations were documented by surveyor. Observations: English Ivy previously had been growing up the trees along the east property line. The ivy has been cut to approximately a 6’ height up the trees. Ivy in the trees is dead. Trees to be Retained: Trees 8351 & 8352 appear to be in a healthy and in good condition. There does not seem to be anything to inhibit their continued viability.

There does not seem to be anything to inhibit their continued viability. Trees 8353, 8356, 8360, 8361, & 8372 appear to be in a healthy and in good condition. There does not seem to be anything to inhibit their continued viability. The sidewalk may have issues with upheaval from the roots. Tree 8362 is in fair condition. The tree has co-dominant leaders. There does not seem to be anything to inhibit their continued viability. The sidewalk may have issues with upheaval from the roots. Trees 8373, 8375, 8376, 8377, 8378, 8380, 8381, 8382, 8383, & 8384 appear to be in a fair condition. The health at one time appears to have been compromised due to ivy growth. Ivy is now dead and needs to be removed from trees. Trees should be pruned to remove dead branches. The tree’s health should be monitored. They should recover. There does not seem to be anything to inhibit their continued viability as long as the ivy is maintained and not allowed to go up the trunk. Recommendations for trees to be Retained: • Remove dead English Ivy from trees. • Remove dead branches from tree to remain. • All pruning must be conducted by an ISA-certified arborist in accordance with the relevant and applicable ANSI A300 standards. Offsite Trees: Tree 8379 is offset but is very close to the property line and is part of the 8373, 8375, 8376, 8377, 8378, 8380, 8381, 8382, 8383, & 8384 tree grove. The health at one time appears to have been compromised due to ivy growth. The Ivy has been removed. The tree should recover. There does not seem to be anything to inhibit their continued viability as long as the ivy is maintained and not allowed to go up the trunk. Tree 8475 is not healthy and is in poor condition. This tree has been topped and heavily pruned. It is more of a shrub than a tree. Trees to be Removed: All removed trees must be felled directionally or pieced down by an ISA-certified arborist to avoid damage to adjacent retained trees. All tree stumps located within the Critical Root Zone (CRZ- defined below) of a retained tree must be ground in place and not ripped out to avoid damage to adjacent root systems. All tree stumps located within the Inner Critical Root Zone (IRCZ-defined below) of a retained tree must be cut to grade and left in place.

Replacement Trees: No replacement trees are required at this time. However, new street trees have been included to replace the existing street trees to be removed. Glossary: Critical Root Zone: The critical root zone (CRZ) is an area around the tree equal to one (1) foot radius from the center point of the tree for each one (1) inch of tree trunk diameter measured at the diameter at standard height (DSH). For example, a tree with a twenty (20) inch diameter at standard height would have a CRZ with a twenty (20) foot radius and a forty (40) foot diameter. Critical root zone, inner: The inner critical root zone (ICRZ) is an area around the tree that is equal to a half (0.5) foot radius from the center point of the tree for each one (1) inch of tree trunk diameter measured at DSH. This is equivalent to half of the radius of the CRZ.
