THIS AMENDMENT, datedfor reference purposes only as December 21, 2023,is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Renton Ecumenical
Assocation of Churches (“REACH” or “Agency”), a Washington nonprofit corporation. The City
and the Agency are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.”
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Agency under Agreement CAG-23-158, dated April
27, 2023 to provide shelter operation services for the REACH Center of Hope shelter (referred to
herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend the agreement through, and
provide funding for, calendar year 2024.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-23-158 is amended as follows:
1. Term: Provision 2 is amended to extend the agreement for one (1) year to December 31,
2024.
2. Scope and Schedule of Services, Exhibit A is amended as follows:
x Effective Date is extended through December 31, 2024
x Adding “2024 Funding” for $51,630.00, bringing maximum 2-year compensation
to $103,260.00
x Performance Measures are amended to add 2024 as follows, using existing
definitions of Units of Service:

x Reporting Due Dates:
o Quarterly Reports are carried forward into 2024; and
o Outcomes and Demographic Reports for 2024 are due January 31, 2025.
3.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
