SUMMARY OF PROPOSED CHANGE:
The contractor protested the issue of pay items and quantities in the contract and stated
certain removal items should be paid for by unit bid item versus incidentals to other items.
The City recognizes that the way the Specials were written contridicted the technical specifications
and was not clear as to the intent. The City and contractor agreed to a comprimise solution
to adjust the unit prices for Items, 4, 5 & 6 as shown on Exhibit A and a deduction of item 12.
