Scarify existing dirt driveway to depth of 8-12". Replant with native vegetation as shown.
Replacement of removed trees(> 4" 0) is calculated based on a ration of 3:1.
Salix Jasiandra (Pacific willow) is counted as a tree in the replacements totals (60).
Large organic debris (LWD) shall be placed in the downstream areas to provide habitat
enhancement.
Offe Engineers has prnvided to JCA a base map of the crossing area tl1at includes the existing
trees (> 6"dbh) within 100' of the new culvert. The base map was used by JCA to prepare a
restoration plan, including details for restomtion and enhancement of the native vegetation within
the area disturbed by the new culvert.
6. The new culvert is designed by Offe Engineefs to be a box culvert structure with an opening of 3'
H x 9' W, gravel lined bottom, concrete ot corrugated metal structure, and approximately 90'
long. The upstream end will be located at tl1e upstream end of the existing culvert, and the
downstream end will extend past the end of the existing culvert along the centerline of the existing
channel.
7. The restoration plan provided by JCA in CJ udes trees and shmbs native to the project area, placed
in clumps, including quantities and sizes_
8. Enhancements will include placement of L WDs and removal of non native species, such as
blackberries and reed canary grass from the area.
9. Volunteer species, such as red alder and black cottonwood will be encouraged but not replanted.
10. Salvage L WDs and trees and shrubs may be obtained by the developer/contractor from other parts
__ o_f Ute pr_oject site. ·-.
11. Compliance inspections will be made by WDFW after and/or during constmction. The project
applicant of contractor shall call WDFW at least 3 days in advance of tlte start of construction and
at the completion for fmal inspection.
12. Construction times will be specified by WDFW after approval of plans, but will probably be June
15 for non-:fishbearing waters. No by pass channel of pipe may be required if constmction is done
when no water or flows are present in the Honey Creek channel.
