PROPOSAL: The applicant is proposing to repair, as normal
maintenance, an existing bulkhead along the
shoreline of Lake Washington. The single-family
residential property has approximately 120 feet of
shoreline within the Urban Shoreline Environment of
Lake Washington. The existing bulkhead consists of a
concrete-capped rockery bulkhead. Existing rocks,
that have fallen into the lake, and replacement rocks
need to be reset. Backfill with quarry spalls, landward
of the bulkhead, will be required. The bulkhead will be
replaced at the current location. No additional
encroachment of the shoreline area is proposed. This
work would occur during August 2006, with
completion by September 2006.
