Project Description: The applicant Is requesting a special fence permit In order to construct a 6' high vinyl
chain link fence along the northwest side (front) and southwest side (side) of the applicant's 0.94-acre lot.
The northwest fence section would be approximately 100' In length and be located at the front of the property.
At the driveway, the front section of fence would have a 20' double swing gate. The proposed southwest
section of fence would run for approximately 200' In a southwest direction. The southern ha If of the
applicant's property Is located within a high landslide hazard area and contains regulated slopes, but the
southwest section of the fence will only encroach into the high landslide hazard area. Other than the two
listed critical areas according to the CItY's Critical Areas Maps there are no other critical areas onslte.

Comments: After the permit was Issued the applicant decided to erect a 4 ft high fence instead of
the 6 ft fence, due to the high cost of the landscaping that would be requred for the 6 ft high fence.

Dear Mr. Ivancevich:
This letter is regarding the Special Administrative Fence Permit LUA08-080, SF that was
issued for the fence located at 220 Seneca Avenue NW, on August 15, 2008. The appeal
period for the permit ended on August 29,2008 and no appeals were filed.
As stated in the permit conditions, you are required to:
• Plant and maintain a three (:3') foot wide landscape strip along
the sections offence that would front Seneca Avenue NW.
• Submit a landscaping plan within 45 days of receiving permit;
subject to the review and approval of the Planning Division
Project Manager.
• Install all plantings within 180 days after landscape plan has
been approved.
The required landscaping plan must also be submitted for review. by September 29,
2008. All landscaping. must be completed within 180 days of the Division's approval of
the landscaping plan.

Dear City of Renton,
I am planning on constructing a 6-foot fence along the front of my
property (West Side approx. 100ft) and along the south line approx. 200ft
with a double swing gate provided for the driveway.
The fence shall be green vinyl chain link which will blend in nicely with the
surrounding landscaping and will abut with the neighbor's (north lot from
ours) 4 foot green vinyl fence that surrounds a portion of his property.
The purpose of the fence is to contain my two dogs and help keep out the
wildlife that comes on our property, we have a lot of coyotes in the area.
The fence will be well back from the street and poses no problems for any of
the neighbors around us.
