MT 0-4 O -n c7 6 cco M x v rn MEMORANDUM TO: GREG BR nUMU FROM: DALE REINER RE: RENTON SENIOR HOUSING C-Ct,nr3rn� - U SEP n 51992 KIRTLEY-COLE ASSOCIATES 4 SUBJECT: PRICE TO DELETE 3" DOUBLE DECTOR CHECK ASSUBLY AND REPLACE WITH 4" ASSEMBLY The owner's problem with this change order is the pricing structure they are comparing. I have submitted two separate prices$ 1. per bid prices (Based on the estimates used to win the contract) 2. per actual prices (Based on prices negotiated with the supplier when purchasing the materials, taking other jobs and projects into account) The Owner wants to use the high, "bid pricing" for their credit and the lower, "actual pricing" for the addition to the contract. This is in error. our Change order Request 01135-3 dated March 27, 1992, was based on "bid pricing" and resulted in an increase of $3,667.88 (this was rejected by owner) our second Change order Request for this Item, /1135-8, dated Juin* 4, 1991, was based on "actual pricing" and the resulting increase bscas $3,186.03 The current proposal the Owner has made per Memo dated August 14, 1992, (Copy Attached) is a Hybrid price showing an increase to A.L.
